The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Geologist to join our Perth team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Engineering Geologist to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Our ground engineering team is a mix of geotechnical and geological specialists who collaboratively plan and execute ground investigations, slope stability assessments, nearshore and marine geotechnics, assessment of tunnels and retaining structures, Tailing Storage Facilities, ground improvement and other specialised services.

Responsibilities

• Characterize ground conditions and materials and support the development of laboratory testing plans
• Identify ground hazards and effectively investigate their extent and nature
• Development of high quality conceptual and observational ground models
• Provide specialist engineering geological services as well as technical advice to facilitate the design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure projects

Here's what you'll need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• High level of experience and ability in use of applicable geotechnical design systems and software
• Knowledge of applicable design standards and guidelines
• Ability to compile technical documents clearly, concisely, logically and accurately
