About the role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our vibrant team at Movement For Life Physiotherapy in Coconut Grove, Northern Territory. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify and address clients' physical rehabilitation needs
2. Developing and implementing customised treatment plans to help clients achieve their recovery goals
3. Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modality-based treatments
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
6. Continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
2. Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in private practice or orthopaedic outpatient setting
4. Experience in musculoskeletal and sports injury physiotherapy is preferred
5. Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a strong understanding of evidence-based physiotherapy practices
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
7. Commitment to continuing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field
8. This IS NOT a sponsored position. You must have full registration with Ahpra and have valid Australian work rights

About us

Movement for Life Physiotherapy is a long-established (25+ years) service located in Darwin, Northern Territory. We were QIP accredited in 2012 and have been an NDIS Registered Physiotherapy provider since 2020. Our clinics are well equipped with exercise space, gym equipment, clinical pilates, and a hydrotherapy pool at our Coconut Grove clinic.

We manage a broad range of clinical presentations including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, sports injuries, workers compensation, motor accident, NDIS and pre-employment screenings, and deliver a large variety of class-based services, including GLA:D, PINC Cancer Rehab, Hydrotherapy, CorePlus Clinical Pilates, and Lower Limb Rehab.

Movement For Life Physiotherapy have a strong connection with the local health care workforce, having previously provided inpatient services at Darwin Private Hospital for a 12 year period. We work closely with several sporting organisations and offer unique opportunities to work and travel with elite sport.
