The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with experience in estimating Remedial Building projects - Concrete repair / Concrete spalling, Remedial Waterproofing and Structural repair works to join their team in Chermside.
Role Responsibilities
- Initial assessment of tenders received
- Prepare tender estimates
- Read and interpret project documentation, including specifications, drawings and BOQ's
- Complete take-offs
- Working with internal team to prepare proposed methodology
- Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders - including subcontractor trades, remedial engineering consultants, strata consultants and clients.
- Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
- Follow up estimates and submissions to gain feedback
- Provide detailed handover of project information to the Project Management Team
What are we looking for?
- Essential Experience - Minimum 2 years recent experience estimating Remedial Waterproofing and Concrete Repair works.
- Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or Construction Management
- Understanding of the Remedial Building, Waterproofing and Building Maintenance process
- Full Australian working rights.
