Render Supervisor

Lead, Improve & Deliver Excellence in Rendering Operations

Australian Country Choice (ACC) is proudly one of Australia's largest, family-owned, vertically integrated beef supply chain companies — dedicated to delivering high-quality beef products to domestic and international markets.

We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Render Supervisor to lead operations within our Rendering Department at our Cannon Hill processing facility. This role is a key part of our production leadership team, ensuring that by-products are efficiently and safely processed into high-quality co-products while maintaining compliance, safety, and environmental standards.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of rendering operations, including product flow, people management, and equipment performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing rendering, tallow, and meal production processes
• Managing shift performance, staff allocation, and productivity
• Ensuring product quality, yield, and production targets are achieved
• Maintaining compliance with food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Driving continuous improvement and waste minimisation initiatives
• Coordinating maintenance activities and downtime reporting
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all procedures are followed

About You:

You're a proactive, hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of rendering operations and a passion for process improvement.

You'll bring:

• Previous experience in rendering, co-products, or related meat processing operations
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP, WHS, and environmental regulations
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts if required
