Package range: $108,057 - $128,149. Package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411 per annum paid pro-rata) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. (Salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role
We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Refrigeration students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:
- 1 x permanent full-time - Newcastle Campus
- 1 x permanent part-time (14 hours per week) - Grafton Campus
Occasional travel may be required across other campuses in the Hunter region (if based at Newcastle) or Northern Rivers (if based at Grafton).

Essential Requirements:
- Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
- Hold a Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL) issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC)
- Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course
- Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualification, gained no longer than five years previously.
Highly Regarded:
- Qualified Supervisor Certificate for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, issued by the NSW government
Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
