What you'll contribute to:

Our client, a leading OEM in the earthmoving machinery sector, is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join their team based out of their Sydney Branch in Erskine Park. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a diverse fleet of equipment including excavators, material handlers, and wheel loaders.

This is a field-based role covering Sydney and regional NSW.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Perform major and minor servicing, maintenance, and component replacements
  • Assist with fabrication work and new machine builds as required
  • Accurately complete service reports and manufacturer documentation
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the field
  • Work directly with key clients to ensure equipment performance and reliability
  • Operate safely and in line with company and site-specific safety standards

Required Skills:

  • Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant Mechanics
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required
  • Current driver's license (manual preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance

Desirable:

  • Experience working on Liebherr earthmoving equipment
  • High Risk Licenses: LF, DG, EWP
  • Background in the Civil or Construction sector
  • Air conditioning accreditation
