Front of House All-Rounder – Full Time (38hrs)

We're on the lookout for a new Front of House All-Rounder to join our team at Colonial Cafe. One of our experienced team members is moving on, and we're hoping to find someone just as passionate about great service and hospitality to step into this full-time role.

About Us

Colonial Cafe is a family-run, community-focused cafe and function centre in the heart of Gatton. Since opening in 2019, we've built a loyal customer base by serving quality food and coffee in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment. Alongside our cafe, we also host functions and off-site catering, making every day a little bit different.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and serving customers with a smile
  • Running food and drinks to tables
  • Operating our Square POS system
  • Assisting with set up and pack down of functions
  • Handling cash and general cleaning duties
  • Opportunity to assist at off-site catering functions

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • RSA certification
  • Previous hospitality experience (function experience highly regarded)
  • Barista skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Leadership potential
  • Certificates in Hospitality

Personal qualities:

  • Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Flexible and a true team player
