About the role
KRED Enterprises is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to provide maternity leave cover on a fixed-term contract. This is a crucial role within the finance team, responsible for supporting the broader business with all financial matters. The successful candidate will be based in Broome, WA.
What you'll be doing
- Processing accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing and preparing EFT payments
- Review timesheets and staff records and process payroll in a timely manner. Prepare wages reconciliations, IAS lodgments and superannuation.
- Full cycle payroll processing experience is essential for this role.
- Assisting with the bank reconciliations and grant reporting requirements.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team as required.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general bookkeeping.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of finance and bookkeeping experience is required.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, Reckon or similar).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Valid Australian work authorisation with permanent residency is required.
