The Role:

The Road Train Operator position is a fly in fly out (FIFO) role from Perth to sites in the Northern Goldfields region.

Among some of the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate Kenworth C509 Tri-drive quad side tipper combination.
  • Operate Mack Titans Bogie-drive quad side tipper combination.
  • Operate on a Dayshift / Nightshift roster.
  • Perform Take 5's before commencement of any task.
  • Be adaptable to travel to other sites to perform duties as directed.
  • Always conduct your work in a Safe and efficient manner.

Essential Requirements:

  • Quad road-train side tipper experience is essential.
  • Able to self-load with WA600, WA500 and WA980 Wheel Loaders.
  • Experience with loadrite weighing system.
  • Manage vendors to maintain servicing and tyres during downtime.
  • Have previous mine site haulage experience – desirable.

  • You will be flexible and positive, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • You will be required to be clean shaven in alliance with the RHT Clean Shaven Policy.
  • Always conduct your work in a Safe and efficient manner.

  • Proven work history with quad side tippers.
  • MC Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated Safe, professional, and productive behaviour.
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical; along with completing onsite routine drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC) or the ability to obtain one.
