Qualifications & experience:

  • Concrete batching experience - mobile or fixed plants
  • Front-end loader and HR ticket required
  • Moderate understanding of computer systems and programs
  • Current and valid Drivers License
  • Strong leadership attributes including the ability to drive a positive working culture
  • Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Supervise and operate a mobile batch plant
  • Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs
  • Day-to-day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant including stock control of raw materials
  • Maintaining accurate logs and reports
  • Managing the day to day activities of a concrete batching plant including overseeing truck allocation for deliveries
  • Coordinating routine maintenance of the batch plant and ancillary equipment
  • Reporting to stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently with remote support
  • General yard and plant housekeeping
  • Safe operation of a front end loader
