Infrastructure Architect

• 3 Month assignment (chance to extend)
• Based in Melbourne / Southbank – hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite, rest remote)
• Start early January 2026

Green Light Australia are looking to engage a hands on Infrastructure Architect to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Establish and configure Azure landing zones using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current on-prem infrastructure and define migration strategy.
• Ensure integration with Active Directory and other enterprise systems.
• Support SAP workload migration planning and execution (preferred).
• Document architecture decisions, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in similar roles as Infrastructure Architect and specialising in Azure Cloud Infrastructure and cloud migration projects for large complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing Azure landing zone and setup Azure (via IaC).
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure/ sever admin/ networking/ Active Directory / Windows Server / SUSE Linux / and Azure Cloud (mandatory) / Terraform (mandatory).
• Proven experience migrating workloads from on-prem to Azure.
• Experience with SAP workload migration to s4 Hana is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
