About the role

We are seeking experienced and qualified Bakers and apprentices to join our team at Bakers Delight in Cockburn Central, WA. This is a full-time opportunity to work with our award-winning bakery and help us continue to deliver high-quality baked goods to our loyal customers. Positive outlook is essential. Must have legal working rights.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and company standards
  • Assisting in the mixing, proofing, and shaping of dough
  • Decorating and finishing baked goods as required
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries
  • Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in baking or pastry arts, or a relevant trade certificate
  • Excellent bread and pastry making skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
  • A passion for high-quality baked goods and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and to mentor and train more junior staff
