The Church of Pentecost Sydney West District is seeking a volunteer Web Developer to help us build and maintain a dynamic, functional, and scalable website for our church community.

The role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining a responsive website tailored to the church's needs
  • Implementing features such as event registrations, online giving, sermon/media archives, and ministry resources
  • Ensuring site performance, security, and reliability across all devices
  • Integrating third-party tools and APIs (e.g., livestream platforms, social media feeds, mailing lists)
  • Supporting church leaders and ministry teams in updating and managing content

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in web development (front-end and/or back-end) with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, , Django, etc.)
  • Be comfortable working with Content Management Systems (WordPress, custom builds, or other platforms)
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to translate ministry needs into functional, user-friendly digital solutions
  • Be collaborative and committed to supporting a multicultural faith community
