About the role

KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced overnight express MC Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a high-capacity vehicle between Brisbane and Rockhampton, Queensland, with drops en route. This role is overnight express with 5 return runs per fortnight. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate an MC-class vehicle on the Brisbane to Rockhampton route, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  2. Load and unload the vehicle as required, ensuring efficient and secure transportation of goods
  3. Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation, in compliance with company and industry standards
  4. Show excellent time management skills to be able to complete the requirements
  5. Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

  1. A valid MC driver's licence, forklift licence and a clean driving record
  2. Candidates with the ability to operate under BFM preferred
  3. At least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a similar transport role
  4. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  5. A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safe driving practices
  6. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
