About us

Deanies Kids Cuts established in 2004 in Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe and calming environment for all the families hair care needs. We have launched our All Natural Vegan haircare range for both our youngest and oldest clients. There is not pressure selling just recommendation of our awesome range. We have a diverse range of fun members currently in our team but due to our ever increased clientele we are in need of another employee.

Qualifications & experience

Senior Hairdresser or Barber.

• Must have good cutting skills with minimum 2-3 years professional hairdressing experience.
• Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia)
• Current working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Tasks & responsibilities

• You will be joining a fun-loving team with staff ranging from 15 years to 65 A great diversity of ages creates a wonderful caring environment. All staff treat each other with care and respect.
• Clients are here waiting for you. No pressure to build a clientele. Our clients are 60 per cent children 40 per cent adults and building all the time.
• Your responsibilities will include cutting adults and children's hair, occasionally answering the phone to book appointments and checking out clients after services on our Fresha App.
• Essential: Excellent cutting techniques for all ages. Desirable: Shampooing, blow drying, straightening, curling, colour work, and foiling experience.
• Experience working with children is highly desirable, along with patience and excellent communication skills with both children and parents.
