Who are we?
Townsville Cabinetry and Joinery is a successful Townsville based company servicing Townsville and surrounding regions, providing a range of commercial and residential cabinetry and joinery services.
We are in our NEW workshop and our team is growing, we now seeking a full-time Qualified Cabinet Maker who loves what they do and wants to positively contribute to our expanding team.

The Role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
- Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
- Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
- Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
- Setting up and operating a variety of machines and using various hand tools to fabricate cabinetry.
- Installation of joinery.
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment.
- Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting the completion of the job to the appropriate person.
About You:
As the successful candidate, you will ideally have the following skills, qualifications and experience
- Fully qualified Cabinet Maker (minimum requirement of Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent internation qualification)
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive cabinet making knowledge
- Willingness to adopt current systems and actively participate in the continual growth of the business
- Positive team player to support our culture

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 – $43.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
