We have a great opportunity to join the A.I.Marketing team. It is a small but flexible role, working approximately 4 hours per week, in the Mackay area.

What is merchandising?: Visiting the Coles, Woolworths, IGA, and pharmacies in the above area to take photos, look after brands (tidy up etc), speak to stores about products/specials, and make sure our clients are all spick and span.

It's a very flexible role, perfect for school hours, university students, or anyone looking for a work/life balance.

The ideal candidate will have some merchandising or grocery supermarket experience- however if you are a friendly and confident person who is good with technology, you may just be perfect too (let us know why in your cover letter). Training and support will be provided for all our candidates.

Employment is on a casual basis with an hourly rate of $32.79 and a car allowance of $0.98c per kilometre which is to be claimed from the first call of the day and finish with the last call of the day.

Your main responsibilities will be;

  • General merchandising of consumer goods
  • Ensuring compliance of promotions
  • Implementing planograms
  • Shelf management
  • Data and photo reporting
  • Presenting new lines and deals to stores

Ideally you will have;

  • Experience in Grocery merchandising
  • Availability on Wednesdays or Thursday
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow requirements promptly
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Smart phone
