About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our award-winning team at the Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway. This full-time position (Monday to Friday) involves general maintenance and upkeep across the hotel, ensuring our facilities are presented to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the property
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Support refurbishment and improvement projects
  • Ensure safety and compliance standards are met

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
  • Trade qualification (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry) highly regarded
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and presentation
