PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person that includes an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs.

The PLC Aquatic Centre is committed to providing educational programs which aim to develop competency in the lifelong skills of swimming, water safety and survival, health and physical activity in aquatic environments whilst focusing on participation and having fun.

The Role

PLC invites expressions of interest from candidates with qualifications and experience in teaching Learn to Swim / Water Safety. We are also interested to hear from candidates who are Lifeguard trained.

This year in March, the grand opening of our Joan Montgomery Centre (our new Sports, Aquatic and Fitness Centre) ensures an exciting time for a new candidate joining our team

Opportunities on offer are casual. Hours of work include morning and afternoon / evening shifts, spread across Monday to Saturday.

About You

You will have relevant qualifications, experience and the passion for teaching swimming and water safety skills to children, understanding their unique needs at each age and stage.

You are a strong team player, with demonstrated professionalism, reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude to your work.

Essential to this role are current AUSTSWIM/SAT, Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, First Aid/Perform CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates.
