Role Description:

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and deliver accurate, data-driven recommendations that drive efficiency, profitability, and innovation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in using data to solve complex business problems.

Key responsibilities include gathering and cleaning data from multiple sources, performing statistical analysis, and building reports and dashboards to visualize key performance metrics. You will work with stakeholders to define analytical objectives, translate business questions into data models, and deliver insights that guide operational and strategic decisions. The Data Analyst will also assist in the development of predictive models, conduct variance and trend analysis, and monitor key indicators to identify patterns or anomalies.

In addition, you will play an active role in maintaining data integrity and governance, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. Collaboration with departments such as finance, marketing, operations, and IT is essential to ensure that analytics outputs are relevant, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals. The position requires a strong understanding of both technical tools and business processes, as well as the ability to communicate findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling way.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau) is an advantage.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data; experience with Python or R for analysis and automation is preferred.
  • Strong command of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, database management, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience with Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, and data modeling).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, and reporting methodologies.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and reporting best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
