 is a $238 million, 10-year national initiative (2025–2035) that brings together Australia's leading minds in cell and gene therapy manufacturing, automation, and supply chain innovation. With a mission to transform the regenerative medicine landscape, SMART CRC is building a future-ready workforce and driving world-class research and commercialisation.

We're seeking a Skills & Training Manager to lead the design and delivery of a best-in-class training program that supports our strategic goals and builds capability across academia and industry.

About the Role

As the SMART CRC Skills & Training Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Australia's regenerative medicine workforce. You'll lead the development and implementation of training strategies, manage the SMART CRC student consortium, and collaborate with a diverse network of stakeholders to deliver impactful learning experiences.

This is a newly created role with national reach and long-term impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the development and delivery of SMART CRC's training programs, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
• Design and implement quality assurance processes and evaluation frameworks.
• Provide strategic advice on training priorities and future directions.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and content developers to create engaging online and in-person learning experiences.
• Identify opportunities to expand the reach and legacy of the training program.
• Build strong partnerships across universities, industry, and government to ensure effective program delivery.
• Support the Centre's Future Workforce program and contribute to a positive, high-performing consortium culture.

About You

You're a strategic thinker with a passion for education and innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a track record of delivering high-impact training initiatives.

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing training programs across sectors.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with early career researchers and HDR students.
• A postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in a complex organisation.
• Experience in the regenerative therapies sector is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of university research frameworks is also highly desirable.
