Linehaul Allocator

We're looking for a confident and experienced Linehaul Allocator to join our high-performing team at Cahill Transport's Lytton depot. If you've worked in linehaul, fleet scheduling, or logistics coordination, and are ready to step into a fast-paced, nationally connected role - this is your chance.

You'll be responsible for keeping our long-distance fleet running efficiently across the country, managing driver allocations, planning routes, and solving problems in real time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Allocating and managing linehaul fleet movements across Australia.
• Creating and adjusting driver schedules in line with CoR, fatigue, and NHVAS requirements.
• Communicating clearly with drivers, internal teams, and key customers.
• Solving issues on the fly - you'll be the go-to for exception management.
• Working closely with the operations team to improve performance and reduce downtime.
• Supporting after-hours planning when required.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in linehaul allocation, fleet coordination, or logistics planning.
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue, and mass management rules.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• Confident using transport management systems (e.g. TN360) and Microsoft Office.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills — you're a team player who can lead from the seat.
• A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and safety-first approach.
