About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting chance to step into a key leadership role at a pivotal moment for TTHG. As Product Manager Lead for Non Powered tools, you'll play a central part in shaping the future of our Private Label strategy and strengthening the product foundations across Total Tools, Mitre 10 and Home Timber & Hardware. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we collaborate across teams, elevate our product offering, and support our store network with ranges that truly meet customer needs.
Responsible for the full product lifecycle, the Product Manager Lead ensures market competitiveness and profitability across the entire Private Label range within the nominated categories, while fostering strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including manufacturers and retailers, to unlock new opportunities and drive innovation.
The role also offers the chance to build strong relationships with our global supplier network, managing the product development process, and ensure quality and commercial alignment.
You'll work with a supportive and highly collaborative team across Heatherton and Port Melbourne, with hybrid flexibility (three days onsite, two days from home).
What you will be doing:
Set the strategic direction for your Category Pillar across multiple ranges
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to in-market performance
Shape a consumer-led product roadmap grounded in insights and data
Drive commercial outcomes — P&L, GM%, EBIT, ROI
Partner with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to deliver quality and innovation
Mentor Senior Product Managers and Product Managers, helping them grow and thrive
Work cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, QA, and more
Bring bold new ideas to life and champion Private Label growth
You're likely a match if you are/have:
7+ years in product management, category development, or private label
A proven track record of developing and launching winning products
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Experience leading cross-functional programs or mentoring product teams
Confidence managing suppliers, negotiations, and compliance requirements
A passion for innovation and continuous improvement
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Product Design, or similar (preferred)
