Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC) is seeking a highly capable and driven
Cyber Project Manager
to lead the delivery of infrastructure, end user computing, and cyber security projects. This role is critical to uplifting QTC's technology environment and cyber security posture, while enhancing the employee experience through secure, modern, and cost-effective solutions.

Role
You will play a key role in both the Cyber Program and the PMO team, working collaboratively across business and technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Your focus will include:

• Leading a variety of cyber risk, governance, security, data, and technology initiatives aimed at uplifting QTC's overall cyber security posture.
• Overseeing successful project delivery including developing and maintaining business cases, plans, budgets, schedules, risks, issues, benefits, change requests, and resourcing profiles for projects.
• Working with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, objectives and deliverables and seamlessly adapting to changes in project scope and requirements if and when required.
• Assisting the Program Manager in the end-to-end management of cyber security and risk-related projects, ensuring the PMO delivers benefits on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and cyber projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage risks, and drive successful outcomes.
• Support PMO standards and uplift initiatives through effective leadership, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

About You
You are a results-driven project manager with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure and cyber security projects. You bring:

• Strong project management skills and relevant certifications (e.g. Prince2, Agile PM).
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies (e.g. Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365), cloud, and virtual environments.
• Experience with cyber security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, Essential 8 and ISO 27001.
• Business analysis skills and experience working with technology platforms and systems.

Qualifications
Essential:

• Project management certification (e.g. Prince2, Agile PM)
• Tertiary qualification in IT, business management, or related discipline

Desirable

• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management
• Experience in cyber security project delivery and frameworks
• Experience in organisational change management
