About the role
The Graphic Designer supports the design and services function of the Commission by designing and producing communications materials in both print and digital areas following brand guidelines, as directed by the Communications Unit and other stakeholders.

This position is available on a temporary full-time basis up to 30 March 2027.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience designing and developing interactive forms and print-ready documents.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint on a PC platform.
  • Experience in successfully juggling multiple projects with non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Political neutrality with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

  2. Provide an example of the communication strategy/ies you apply when meeting with stakeholders for an initial design briefing in order to understand the full scope of the brief (maximum 300 words).

You are also required to provide examples of your work, focusing on forms and print ready documents, with a brief description of your involvement (no more than 10 pages).
