About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Managerto join our Acute Care team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is pivotal in driving strategic sales growth across the acute care sector. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. You'll play a critical role in expanding our market presence and contributing to national project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives across major acute care projects.
  • Identify, develop, and close large-scale opportunities across assigned regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Assist with forecasting sales on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Research accounts, generate leads, and evaluate customer needs.
  • Maintain and expand the client database within your territory.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals.
  • Attend meetings with existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide solution-focused service and support across all interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client and sales account information.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of company products and services.
  • Continuously strive for excellence in customer outcomes.
Skills/Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 3–5 years), ideally within B2B, aged care, or acute care sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and large-scale projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Results-driven, with a hunter mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Advanced computer literacy and CRM proficiency.
