The Role:
The IT Systems & Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for maintaining and optimising core IT systems while strengthening the FP's cybersecurity posture. The role combines systems administration, technical analysis, and cybersecurity expertise with accountability for compliance activities such as ISO 27001 readiness.
This position ensures the organisation's technology environment remains reliable, secure, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Administer and support IT infrastructure, cloud environments, endpoints, and networks.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage security controls and tools (e.g., EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanning).
- Take ownership of the cybersecurity roadmap: ensure planned initiatives are on track, collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver outcomes, and continuously uplift the organisation's security maturity and posture.
- Support ISO 27001 readiness, including risk assessments, control management, and evidence collection.
- Conduct and document third-party/vendor risk assessments, including SaaS security and data residency reviews.
- Maintain and improve system security configurations, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to embed secure and efficient practices.
- Document processes, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
About You:
- Genuinely curious and passionate about health, wellness, and fitness.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- 3–5 years' experience in IT systems administration and/or cybersecurity roles.
- Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure and cloud services (Microsoft, Azure; AWS desirable).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
- Exposure to compliance activities such as audits, third-party/vendor risk assessments
- A self-starter with a results-driven approach and a strong sense of accountability.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when required.
