THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a
highly motivated and suitably experienced Engineering Manager
to join the leadership team within our Automation Group.
In this role, you'll oversee the delivery of services by our Electrical and Automation Engineers, ensuring exceptional service quality and technical excellence. Based in
Devonport
, you'll manage team workloads, mentor and support staff, and contribute directly to project delivery.
You'll be a natural leader with the ability to organise, motivate, and inspire a team of experienced professionals while maintaining strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Electrical or Automation Engineering, or relevant training and experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, coordinating the delivery of high-quality engineering work.
- Strong safety leadership by adhering to and promoting all Cromarty Automation safety policies and procedures.
- Commitment to high quality service and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Maintain professional currency by staying abreast of current Electrical & Automation engineering best practice.
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
- 10 plus years' relevant experience
- Relevant project management experience and methodologies.
- Industrial/manufacturing environment experience.
- Low voltage electrical design.
- PLC, RTU & control systems experience.
- HMI, SCADA and MES platforms experience.
