Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience in designing across multiple platforms, including mobile apps, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience leading design projects along with the ability to collaborate for product design strategy and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Figma and other related design tools.
  • Experience with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you'll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive UX design across Acquire projects and future opportunities and able to manage multiple, fluid projects simultaneously.
  • Articulate user journeys with scenarios, storyboards and presentations, low and high-fidelity mocks, detailed interaction specifications, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Contribute to UX direction and strategy, generating buy-in and operationalizing the strategy across teams and timelines.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
  • Partner with User Experience Researcher (UXR) on research hypothesis and participate in user research and drive UX design.
