Join one of Australia's most successful and innovative tech companies in this lead DevOps role, taking responsibility for the architecture, performance and scalability of the company's network and cloud infrastructure. This award-winning, ASX listed R&D group dominates the world in its industry sector and is looking for a talented DevOps / infrastructure lead with expert skills in Linux, networking and cloud engineering.

Responsibilities include designing, supporting and optimising LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and WIFI networks; implementing and managing on-premise hybrid hosting platforms; working closely with software engineering teams to implement and maintain cloud (AWS) platforms to support the development of industry-leading SaaS and PaaS applications; and managing a small team of DevOps/SRE engineers.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A strong Linux background
  • Experience managing AWS cloud platforms, transitioning products to the cloud
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDWAN and hybrid hosting environments
  • Advanced knowledge of IP network design and implementation
  • Strong experience with virtualisation, containerisation, orchestration, CI/CD systems, monitoring, tooling, scripting (e.g., Python, JS, Typescript, Go, shell), IaC practices
  • Cybersecurity / DevSecOps experience
  • Superior communication and problem solving skills
  • Team leadership experience
  • A computer science or equivalent degree
