About the role
First Light Healthcare is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse or Assistant in Nursing to join our dynamic team in Byron Bay, NSW. As an Enrolled Nurse/Assistant in Nursing, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting Registered Nurses in the delivery of patient care, monitoring vital signs and providing personal care
- Contributing to patient Health Assessments, Occupational Health Medicals and quality improvement across the clinic.
- Documenting patient and maintaining accurate Patient medical records
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised clinical environment
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
What we're looking for
- Current Enrolled Nurse or Assistant in Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar healthcare role.
- Strong clinical skills and the desire to expand on your knowledge as required for the role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
- A genuine passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care
