Role description:

Kickstart your career with Arcadis, ranked the 4th Top Engineering Consultancy in Prosple's 2025 Top Graduate Employers List. Our structured Graduate Development Program is designed to build your technical, leadership, and behavioural skills, setting you up for success from day one.

Beyond technical expertise, you'll develop digital, communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills—essential for a future-ready career. You'll also be part of state-based Graduate Groups, offering mentorship, networking, and professional development tailored to your journey.

We foster a vibrant graduate community with regular events like "Meet the Legends" with our Technical Directors, trivia nights, site visits, and knowledge-sharing sessions. You'll also gain global exposure through Arcadis' Expedition DNA program, focusing on digital transformation and innovation.

As we evolve into a Skills Powered Organisation, you'll have the opportunity to shape your career path based on your strengths and ambitions. Join us in making a real impact through sustainable, meaningful work in an inclusive and diverse environment that values collaboration, integrity, and personal growth.

Role accountabilities:

Joining this Building Design team will give you access to an integrated range of projects across transport & social infrastructure and building design. You'll be joining a technically strong team spread along the East Coast. Our focus is typically on complex multi-discipline projects across all buildings including train stations, data centres and precincts as well as electrical, mechanical, fire services, hydraulics and structural components of building structures. Joining our multi-disciplinary team, you'll gain a much broader perspective on building engineering which you may not get at other consultancies.

Qualification & Experience:

First and foremost, you have a passion for improving the quality of life. You share our values – People First, Collaboration, Sustainability, Client Success, and Integrity. You will be graduating in 2025 or have recently graduated from a degree relevant to the space we work. You'll come to us:

  • With a passion for the work that we do in engineering design, environmental science, planning, business advisory, sustainability, and digital innovation.
  • Demonstrating typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, Growth-Mindset, and the ability to build working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • With innovative thinking, self-motivation, and enthusiasm about driving your own career development.
  • Confident communicating and presenting to peers, clients, and stakeholders.
