What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in the daily lives of our participants by:

  • Supporting daily living activities such as personal care, meal prep, household management, and mobility.
  • Encouraging independence while providing emotional guidance and motivation.
  • Working with participants to achieve their personal and wellness goals.
  • Assisting participants in mental health or recovery programs as needed.
  • Promoting community participation, social engagement, and connection.
  • Accurately documenting services provided, incidents, and participant progress.
  • Following all NDIS Practice Standards, organizational policies, and safety procedures.

Who We're Looking For

  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic individual with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant certifications or training in disability, aged care, or mental health support (preferred but not essential).
  • Must have or be willing to obtain:

§ First Aid Certificate

§ NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

§ National Police Certificate

§ Driver Licence

§ Blue Card / Working with Children Check (if applicable)

  • Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the individual needs and schedules of participants.
