Drive Innovation in Rail Technology – Join the IRT Team
The Institute of Railway Technology (IRT) at Monash University is seeking a Senior Engineer – Data Warehouse Development to lead the design and delivery of high-performance, scalable data systems powering real-time condition monitoring across rail networks in Australia and internationally.
This is a professional (non-academic) role, central to IRT's research and training initiatives. You'll develop tailored IT solutions, support client projects, and collaborate with Monash IT teams to ensure system performance, security, and alignment with cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced data warehouse solutions for IRT's condition monitoring systems.
- Develop secure, scalable systems in partnership with IRT engineers and Monash IT.
- Apply both research insights and hands-on technical expertise to deliver innovative, data-driven outcomes.
With a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex challenges, you'll play a key role in supporting world-class rail research and delivering real impact for clients.
