Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate trainee and qualified Certificate III Early Learning Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to create and deliver high-quality, engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). It is important that the successful candidate is patient, compassionate, and confident in working with children with additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive. You will also work closely with our educators to offer extra assistance, ensuring all children feel included, supported, and able to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate educational programs.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment that supports the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
- Build strong and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and regulatory requirements.
- Document and assess children's learning and development through observations and records.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a harmonious and productive workplace.
Skills and Qualifications
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
- Fluent English speaker and strong communication skills.
- Working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and relevant childcare regulations.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid Certificate, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
