Wynnum Golf Club, established in 1922, is one of Brisbane's leading golf clubs, located in the scenic Bayside area. Our 18-hole parkland course, practice facilities, and vibrant clubhouse make us a proud part of the local community.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our course maintenance team. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers the possibility of part-time or full-time employment for the right candidate. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for keeping machinery in top condition, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

·       Casual position with potential to move into part-time or full-time

·       Service and maintain turf equipment, small engines, and machinery (mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, etc.)

·       Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out preventative maintenance

·       Ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for daily use

·       Assist with workshop records and parts ordering

What We're Looking For

·       Qualified mechanic (light vehicle, diesel, or small engines) or strong practical experience in machinery maintenance

·       Experience with turf equipment, hydraulics, or irrigation systems (an advantage, but not essential)

·       Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude

·       Ability to work independently and in a small, supportive team

·       Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
