About the role

Westside Radiology is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide and NSW for short-term/ locum position. This is a part-time/ casual/ flexible position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. A fly-in/fly-out option is available for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal scans
  • Providing high-quality diagnostic images and reports in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the radiology department

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sonographer, preferably in a hospital or private radiology setting
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, with a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
