We are now on the huntfor aDigital Business Analyst to join our Digital Delivery Team in our Richmond Office, Melbourne.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity, perfect for an accomplished and organised team player with a background in eCommerce delivery, testing, and development pipeline planning.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Digital Delivery, the Digital Business Analyst will work alongside the Ecommerce Project Manager and the Ecommerce Delivery Team to lead requirements analysis, document business requirements and acceptance criteria, processes and proposed solutions, support User Acceptance Testing and the development of end user documentation. In addition, you will assist with the creation and management of the eCommerce product backlog, providing a clear perspective on customer goals and objectives and communicating this to relevant stakeholders.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
  • Identify and collate business requirements using a range of methods including but not limited to workshops, interviews, prototyping, document analysis, brainstorming and focus groups.
  • Breakdown problems and scope needs into functional specification request documents with clearly defined acceptance criteria for external delivery partners.
  • Act as "source of truth" on various requirements for projects - guiding the team to make the right choices to maximize project & customer success.
  • Assist with management of the product backlog, define user stories, develop briefs and work with the development team and key stakeholders to build the best solutions to deliver customer aligned outcomes.
  • Undertake gaps analysis between current state (As Is) and future state (To Be).
  • Share knowledge and expertise within the Digital Delivery Team and beyond.
  • Facilitate business and technical requirements sign off with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Work alongside the Ecommerce Project Manager to create requirements traceability, solution acceptance and benefits realisation criteria.
  • Provide support throughout testing activities and where required, assist with creating UAT and SIT plans, and testing against acceptance criteria.
  • Build strong and relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to all parties to reduce overall effort.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • 3+ yrs proven experience in a similar Ecommerce Business Analyst role
  • 1+ yr experience in a Business Analysis role in a retail business
  • Technical understanding of website integration architecture and associated backend operational processes
  • Solid understanding of documentation processes and structures, specifically business requirements specifications and functional/non-functional requirements analysis
  • Understanding of Ecommerce and ERP integrations, and application/plugin solutions
  • Good communication and meeting management skills across all business facets and with partners/vendors
  • Process driven, and an absolute ability to work well with in a Team as well as individually
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

This is a full-time role requiring you to work generally from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, however ability to work flexible hours to accommodate some offshore hours
