Hand Therapist

• Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and knowledge with experience in hand therapy assessment and treatment, including the management of novel and complex presentations, static/dynamic splinting and wound / scar management.
• Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and clinical education of students.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, evidence based practice, research and service development activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.
• Demonstrated ability to apply independent professional judgment whilst working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated high level organisation and time management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing development in the area of Hand Therapy eg Australian Hand Therapy association full membership / Certified Hand Therapist Qualification / relevant post- graduate qualification or demonstrated willingness to undertake further qualification in Hand Therapy.
