Work as part of a group of civil engineers and project managers to deliver civil infrastructure projects that will shape the future for the visitors and residents of the City of Port Phillip. You will deliver civil infrastructure including road reconstructions, local area traffic management, water sensitive urban design, drainage and maritime projects.We have a passionate and driven team who all work together to deliver outcomes that positively benefit our community.1 x full-time permanent roleWhat You Might DoCarryout "hands-on" design, prepare engineering drawings, estimates, specifications and contract documentation for capital works projects.Engage and manage consultants and contractors.Plan and manage consultations with the community, stakeholders, internal and external parties, as required, to achieve best outcomes for council.Provide input and support into the planning, management and delivery of projects within allocated time, quality and budget constraints and in line with the EPMO framework and Council's standards, policies, relevant codes and industry practice.Who We Are Looking ForA degree in civil engineering.Experience in undertaking 'hands-on' design of civil infrastructure, such as road reconstructions, local area traffic management, water sensitive urban design and drainage projects.Experience in project management of civil infrastructure projects, including undertaking community consultation, procurement, contract management and construction supervision.Advanced proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Civil3D and Civil Site Design, as well as sound knowledge and experience in using MUSIC software.Our work environmentWe love what we do and are all proud to work at the City of Port Phillip.
