SEO Specialist

The Azuri Group is a specialist medical marketing agency working with leading cosmetic surgeons, doctors, and aesthetic clinics across Australia. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to drive organic growth, technical performance, and search visibility for our clients.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves analysing data, solving technical SEO challenges, and building measurable, long-term growth strategies.

About the Role

As our SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies that improve organic rankings, increase traffic, and generate qualified leads for our cosmetic and medical clients.

You will work closely with designers, developers, writers, and the paid media team to ensure every website is technically sound, content-rich, and conversion-focused—while staying compliant with industry advertising standards.

Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO

• Perform audits to identify technical issues and recommend improvements.
• Manage site speed, indexation, crawlability, sitemap and robots optimisation.
• Oversee schema markup, structured data, and best-practice site architecture.

On-Page SEO

• Conduct keyword research tailored to the cosmetic medical industry.
• Optimise landing pages, service pages, and blogs for relevance and clarity.
• Provide content briefs and guide writers based on search intent.

Off-Page SEO

• Execute ethical backlink strategies suited to medical advertising regulations.
• Monitor backlink profiles and manage disavow files when required.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and third-party tools.
• Produce monthly reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with the paid media team on blended search strategies.

What We're Looking For

• 2–4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and site performance optimisation.
• Ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Experience working with WordPress and medical/regulated sectors is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of E-E-A-T and how it applies to medical content.
