Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is offering an exciting Administration/Human Resources traineeship opportunity within our Organisational Development team, People & Culture.

Depending on your previous experience and interest, the traineeship will be either a 12-month traineeship completing a Certificate III in Business or a two-year traineeship completing a Certificate IV in Human Resources.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop your communication skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality administrative and customer service support
  • Support the implementation of initiatives that foster employee engagement, development, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and culture
  • Develop an understanding of other key functions such as recruitment, learning and development, rostering, WH&S and Human Resources
  • Undertake a structured traineeship, completing both on-the-job learning and formal study, completing assessments and coursework to achieve your traineeship qualification
  • Work within a supportive team and develop professional skills through mentoring, support, and engagement with the Aboriginal Workforce Development Team

About You

  • You are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with strong connections to your community
  • You have completed Year 10 or equivalent and are committed to completing your traineeship qualification
  • You demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and can use IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • You are motivated and capable of balancing study, work, and personal commitments
  • You value learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a supportive work environment
