About the role

We have a full-time Laborer/Assembler role on Afternoon Shift with Metaltex Australia offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company. Based in the Dandenong South, these role's will see you contributing to the assembly and production processes that are critical to the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Executing assembly and production tasks as per established procedures and quality standards
  • Utilising hand tools, power tools and machinery to assemble products
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Effectively communicating with team members to ensure workflow and productivity
  • Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar assembly or production role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical instructions
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • The physical capability to perform the required duties
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, demonstrate manual dexterity, and handle repetitive motions
  • Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation required
