Barji Marine is an established and highly experienced marine mechanical business, specialising in servicing and maintaining some of Australia's toughest sport fishing trailer boats.
We are seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with premium offshore boats and leading engine brands in a well-equipped workshop environment.
About the role- Service, repair and maintain outboard engines (Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out boat fit-outs, rigging, and system upgrades
- Ensure all work meets high standards of quality and safety
- Collaborate with a professional and supportive team
- Trade-qualified Marine Mechanic (or relevant experience)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Passion for boats and the marine industry
- Reliable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship
- Current boat license (forklift ticket an advantage)
