We are seeking passionate Food and Beverage Attendants with fine dining experience who are ready to grow, prosper, and contribute to a world-class standard of service.

The Role:

  • Deliver exceptional fine dining service in a sophisticated, luxury environment.
  • Follow and uphold the venue's "Sequence of Service" standards, including welcoming and seating guests, beverage preparation, order taking, food service, clearing, and cashiering duties.
  • Maintain a polished, clean, and safe environment, practicing Food Safety standards at all times.
  • Uphold Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) policies and ensure all House Policies are observed.
  • Create personalised guest experiences through genuine connection, intuitive service, and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with a professional, passionate team committed to delivering Hamilton Island's renowned level of hospitality.
  • Flexibility for split shifts or job share arrangements as operationally required.
  • This role involves standing for extended periods and managing guest expectations with professionalism, even under pressure.

About You:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in hatted or award-winning fine dining venues.
  • Deep understanding of fine dining "Sequence of Service" and best practices.
  • Sound knowledge of food and wine pairing, with the ability to confidently explain menu items, wine varietals, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to carry and serve with finesse (e.g., carrying 3 plates, serving trays of beverages).
  • Genuinely guest-focused, anticipating needs and creating memorable moments.
  • High personal standards, professionalism, and pride in your presentation and service.
  • Team-oriented, receptive to feedback, and adaptable within a dynamic, luxury environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and composed under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Nationally Recognised or QLD).
  • Current Driver's Licence (essential).
