Position - Cyber Security Lead
Location – Sydney, Australia , long term contract
The Cyber Security Lead's role is partly "Hands on Role" which requires the skills and experience in managing, maintaining, implementing changes configurations and deployed security controls. This role also focusses on driving compliance against NIST CSF, Adopting a Information Security Risk management approach and looking to continuously uplift the overall cyber security posture by translating threat and alerts from our security controls into actionable use cases. The Cyber Security Lead also manages our 24/7 SOC service being delivered by a third party through regular weekly meetings.
Experience (include area and level/significance of experience required)
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in designing, implementing, managing & maintaining Enterprise Security Controls
• Hands on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting & maintaining (patching) next gen firewalls
• Hands on experience implementing changes on Next Gen Firewalls
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine tuning IPS / IDS
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Anti Malware solutions
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine tuning DLP solutions
Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning SSL inspection function
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning OT / SCADA security controls
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine tuning SIEM platform
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Email security Gateways
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning VPN gateways
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Vulnerability Assessment Tools
• Hands on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Cloud based native & third-party security controls
• Hands on experience patching Enterprise Next Gen Firewalls in a HA mode (Critical Function & Requirement)
