Here is an opportunity to join an established firm with well-appointed offices on Eagle Street. The firm has an excellent General Manager and talented Paralegals/Legal Assistants staff in place. 

Our client likes to remain well-resourced so from organic growth, they are adding a new Commercial Litigation Lawyer with circa 2 to 4 years PAE.

We are keen to brief candidates with Commercial Disputes and Litigation experience. This team has a much greater focus on complex matters and the team rarely works on high volume, highly transactional disputes.

The firm has decades of goodwill in the Brisbane market and the Commercial Litigation team in the Brisbane office is now at a headcount of 12 Lawyers and 3 Partners. The work mix will see you help clients with:

  • Partnership dissolutions, joint venture disputes;
  • Employment disputes;
  • Professional negligence;
  • Estate litigation;
  • Body corporate and strata litigation;
  • Insolvency and general contractual disputes;
  • Building and construction litigation; and
  • Assisting commercial property owners resolve disputes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years post admission Commercial Litigation experience;
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other team members;
  • A passion for Litigation.
