We are a Service Centre and Dealership based in Breakwater, Geelong.

We have the opportunity for an experience mechanic with strong diagnosis and problem-solving skills to join our growing team. Working closely with our highly experienced team your position will be well supported.

Job Description

A balance between retail service work and maintaining/preparing our vehicles for sale. Working on new and evolving range of Japanese imports as well as our valued client base. We offer all aspects of servicing, maintenance, and roadworthy testing. The role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, organized, and diligent applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting a full range of vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Performing reliable and consistent diagnostic analysis
  • The ability to show initiative and strong problem solving skills.
  • Carry out mechanical & electrical repairs to vehicles.
  • Safety inspections
  • Harbour commitment to quality work and positive customer relationship
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team whilst adapting to working autonomously when required
  • Meet deadlines.

Required Traits

  • Ability to accurately appraise and diagnose the condition of a used vehicle
  • Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced environment.
  • Reliable with a good work ethic
  • A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A willingness and commitment to learn and ambition to succeed
  • High level of organization and problem solving
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Computer proficiency in basic office tools (word processor, email, etc)
  • A  RWC LVT License would be an advantage but happy to train and upskill the right applicant
  • Motor mechanic or trade certificate
  • Partial completion of a mechanical apprenticeship may be considered
  • Victorian Drivers Licence
