Maintenance electrician required for mining camp

Your new company

Operating nationally, this catering company is one of the largest within Queensland's sector. Currently, this organisation is seeking a highly skilled electrician to join their team.

This role will be FIFO from Brisbane on a flexible roster working across multiple sites.Your new role

  • Maintenance and safety compliance to the site electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Ensuring all Site electrical work is completed in accordance with all the statutory compliance with both legal and company requirements
  • Maintaining the village infrastructure and mine site facilities
  • Participate in the workflow for maintenance of the electrical equipment to ensure service meets the requirements of the business units.
  • Participate in the necessary daily workload to meet company requirements
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in your assigned area
  • Preventative and maintenance work for accommodation facilities

What you'll need to succeed

  • Unrestricted Electrical QLD licence
  • LVR/CPR
  • Experience in a facility maintenance position within a mining camp village, hospital or similar
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test
  • National police check under 3 months or ability to obtain
  • CBM - highly desirable
  • Standard 11 - highly desirable
