About you 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Provide Excellent Clinical Care for Eastern Health Surgical Patients
• Provide leadership for Junior Medical Staff and other Clinical Staff
• Support the Hospitals Teaching, Research and Clinical Governance Programs.
• Must be a Registered Medical Practitioner in the State of Victoria
• Hold a current specialist registration with AHPRA
• Be a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) 
• Have highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• Be an excellent communicator with organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
